"Walyunga" is situated on an elevated site in a peaceful and quiet area 3 kilometers from Kinsale town. From the town follow the R600 (West), then the Sandycove signs and then the "Walyunga" Bed & Breakfast signs.
The home, patio area and garden overlook the Atlantic Ocean, Kinsale's outer harbour, Sandycove Island and a quiet rural valley. The patio area and landscaped grounds offer a variety of experiences such as viewing the yachts in the outer harbour, bird watching, listening to the dawn chorus, enjoying the fresh air, painting, reading, star gazing or simply unwinding, while those interested in plants and flowers will find much to admire and discuss.
The quiet road from the home which winds its way to the tranquil, sandy cove is popular with strollers, walkers and joggers. A walk along one of the near by scenic coastal routes is an ideal preparation for a hearty breakfast in our dining room, or an evening meal in one of Kinsale's many fine gourmet restaurants.
